About
Cassis Monna et Filles is the ambition of two passionate sisters who are committed to the cultivation of blackcurrants, those small, mauve, almost black, highly aromatic berries. Located on the emblematic Île d'Orléans, in the Quebec City region, the establishment has been combining passion and innovation for over 20 years.
For unforgettable memories, Cassis Monna et Filles is a must. You can start your visit at the liqueur factory's Economuseum®, where the craftsmen's know-how is explained. Next, the wine cellar and boutique showcase the company's many products: creams, wines, vodkas, syrups, vinaigrettes, jams, honeys, mustards and more. A tasting session is also available. Once you've worked up an appetite, just climb the stairs to the terrace of Le Monnaguette restaurant, where blackcurrants are prepared in a thousand and one ways. For dessert, a stop at the crèmerie is mandatory, where nearly 20 flavors are available, including the famous vanilla-cassis soft-serve ice cream. Picnic chairs and tables are available for enjoying the ice cream and admiring the magnificent sunset.
