Herbal Apothecary

Tony and Cami first started their business back in the spring of 2020. As a result of the pandemic, they had both recently lost their jobs and needed to make lemonade out of some very sour lemons! It started with microgreens. Cami and Tony bought some microgreen seeds online, seeded a few trays in their living room, made up a brochure and started pounding the pavement. Come summertime, they decided to get a booth at farmer’s markets and handed out samples like crazy. In addition to growing microgreens, they also grow both culinary and medicinal mushrooms. As they expanded their space, Cami and Tony soon came up with some new product lines, including herbal teas, wellness soaps and finishing salts; all of which included microgreens or mushrooms! The apothecary line continued to grow as they developed more natural, plant-based healing and skin care products. In less than two short years, they went from seeding their first microgreen tray in their living room to now being one of the largest microgreen and mushroom producers south of Calgary. When it came time to expand from their grow space, they decided to open their first retail location in the heart of downtown Lethbridge where they grow their own microgreens and mushroom as well as carry a large selection of adaptogens, bulk herbs, mushrooms, and natural healing products. They also make their own bath soaks, body butters, candles, essential oils, facial toners, herbal soaps, herbal teas, room sprays and skin serums.
