Jj Kitchen

After owners Jane and Brian attended Medicine Hat Farmers’ Markets for two years and were encouraged to open a storefront eatery, they renovated a space in downtown Medicine Hat and opened Jj Kitchen in late 2022. A love for putting together recipes and pairing dishes together to serve to visitors and the community comes natural to Chef Jane. Each week she features a new menu, made with fresh ingredients and showcasing an array of flavourful dishes. The couple’s intention to introduce Korean culture and cuisine brings a warm atmosphere to the quaint space, which has a nice contrast between colourful and wooden features. A welcoming eatery where you can taste kimchi jjigae (stew), ramyun, gimbap, pan-fried mandu, and so much more. It’s an easy experience to walk in and say, “I’ll have the special!”, and know you’ll enjoy the dish more with each bite.
