About

Experience the life of the early Mennonites in Manitoba at our Pioneer Days festival! Witness pioneer demonstrations, steam-powered threshing, live music, and lots of good food as we share the stories of Manitoba Mennonite beginnings.

Food is a central part of the Pioneer Days experience. Enjoy traditional Mennonite dishes like freshly baked bread from the village bakery, delicious homemade sausages, and hearty soups. The Livery Barn Restaurant serves classic Mennonite fare, including borscht, vereniki (perogies), and rollkuchen.
