About
Located in the heart of Sturdies Bay on Galiano Island, within unceded Coast Salish Territory, Oxeye embraces the island’s spirit and the abundance it provides. Named after the wild daisy that flourishes across the Southern Gulf Islands, Oxeye brings a Pacific Northwest influence to modern café cuisine. Committed to fostering community and collaboration, it partners with island artisans, growers, and residents. Designed as a welcoming space for both islanders and visitors, Oxeye offers a place to gather—whether for a morning cup of coffee, a leisurely lunch, or a weekend brunch. Inspired by the flavours and culture of the Gulf Islands, its menus evolve with the seasons and sometimes even the weather.

About Southern Gulf Islands
The Southern Gulf Islands—Salt Spring, Galiano, Pender, Mayne, and Saturna—rise like verdant crowns from the Salish Sea, offering a rich tapestry of flavors and creativity. Each island offers its own unique character, woven together by shared values of community, artistry, and a deep connection to the land.
Salt Spring Island, the largest of the group, is a haven for food lovers, known for its strong locavore culture, artisan producers, and organic vineyards.
