Prairie Berry Farm is a hidden gem located in Glenlea, just a short drive from Winnipeg. This charming farm, where the owner grew up, is now a thriving strawberry farm offering a unique experience for visitors.

Prairie Berry Farm is proud to be Métis-owned and operated, and fully French bilingual, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region. The farm initially opened to the public for u-pick and pre-pick strawberries, quickly becoming a beloved destination. Guests loved the experience of picking juicy, fresh strawberries on warm summer days, and the farm even earned the title of the nicest farmyard in Manitoba.

One of the most exciting developments at Prairie Berry Farm has been the introduction of Farm to Table Dining Experiences. During the short picking season in early July, guests are treated to a 4-7 course meal served right in the strawberry patch. Each meal is prepared by renowned local chefs who use fresh, local ingredients and incorporate strawberries into every dish.

Recently, Prairie Berry Farm has shifted focus to exclusively offering these Farm to Table dinners. By reducing the size of their strawberry patch and no longer opening for u-pick, the team can perform crop rotations, spend more time with their family, and dedicate themselves to the projects they are most passionate about.
