L’Hôtel-musée premières nations is truly unique in terms of both architecture and scope. The establishment houses a museum spotlighting Huron-Wendat culture, a hotel, a natural spa and a gourmet restaurant whose menu is inspired by the culinary traditions of Québec’s First Nations. Showcasing local Indigenous products is the mission of Chef Marc de Passorio. He combines his team’s skills and the knowledge he gained through his travels and many meetings with Indigenous nations to make you discover the millennial riches of Mother Earth. Restaurant La Traite is the perfect place to discover cuisine inspired by the Indigenous terroir. With its peeled tree trunks as columns and wild animal skins, this modern decor inspired by Indigenous knowledge takes us right into the heart of nature. During the summer, the magnificent terrace on the edge of the Akiawenrahk’ river offers a unique atmosphere in Québec City.
