About

Rig Hand Distillery stands as a beacon of local craftsmanship, producing an array of premium spirits that capture the essence of the region. As the first craft distillery in the greater Edmonton area, Rig Hand takes pride in its grain-to-glass philosophy, ensuring that every bottle reflects the quality and character of locally sourced ingredients.

Visitors to the distillery can indulge in a diverse selection of spirits, including vodka, gin, whisky, rum, and unique liqueurs. One standout offering is their Garlic Vodka, naturally infused with locally sourced Russian red garlic, making it a favourite among chefs and an exceptional base for a classic Caesar cocktail.

The distillery's commitment to the community is evident in its partnerships with local producers. The primary grain supplier, Schneider Farms, is a fourth-generation farm located just two miles from the facility, emphasizing Rig Hand's dedication to supporting local agriculture.

Beyond crafting exceptional spirits, Rig Hand Distillery offers a welcoming tasting room available for private events, from birthdays to corporate gatherings. The venue's rustic charm and unique offerings provide a memorable backdrop for any occasion.

Whether you're a connoisseur or new to the world of craft spirits, a visit to Rig Hand Distillery promises an authentic experience rooted in Alberta's rich heritage and a passion for quality distilling.
