Located on a wooded property on Mayne Island, Mayne Island Brewing Company is a small-batch brewery crafting unique ales and lagers that reflect the island’s spirit. Founded in 2016 by Michael Garratt, what started as a passion for home brewing has grown into a recognized name in BC’s craft beer scene. With over 20 years in the wine industry, Michael brings a refined palate and dedication to every 140-litre batch.
A true family operation, Michael handles brewing, cleaning, and tasting, while artist Annette hand-prints merchandise, manages the office, and helps in the tasting room. Their children, Jasper and Grace, assist with bottling and labeling.
Producing more than 15 styles of bottle-conditioned beers, the brewery has earned accolades at the BC Brewing and Canadian Brewing Awards. With a focus on creativity and quality, Mayne Island Brewing offers a rotating selection of standout brews.
